Hunt has over 25 years of experience as an investment banker and entrepreneur. He has built a distinguished career spanning the USA and emerging Asian markets. Prior to founding GoldenRock Capital in 2015 (formerly Redsun Capital), he spent 6 years as the Managing Director of VinaCapital Corporate Finance Group and CEO of VinaSecurities, where he drove strategic investment banking transactions in partnership with Macquarie. He has also previously held executive roles at leading international investment banks including Shearson Lehman Brothers, W.I. Carr, Merrill Lynch, and Nomura, overseeing strategic cross-border underwriting and direct investment initiatives across Asia’s emerging markets.

In addition to his financial expertise, he co-founded and served as CEO of Global CyberSoft Inc., a leading IT services provider for Fortune 500 companies and industry leaders in the US, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Japan. Under his leadership, Global CyberSoft grew to more than 500 software engineers with headquarters in Silicon Valley and major development centers in Vietnam before its acquisition by Hitachi Consulting Group in 2014. He holds an Investment Fund Management License from the Vietnam State Securities Commission and earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, an MS in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University, and an MBA from the Wharton Business School.
